Famous Celebrity Divorces

When it comes to divorces, there are no better divorces to read about than those friendly, and not so friendly, celebrity divorces. Most recently is the divorce that is currently going on between Kate and Jon Gosselin. Made famous from their show Jon and Kate Plus Eight, Jon and Kate had twin girls followed by sextuplets. Their show documented their busy life together. Reports early on were claiming that Kate wore the pants in the family and was a bully. But it turns out that she needed to be!

Jon had a wandering eye and forgot that he had 8 kids to look after. They are in the middle of a divorce and their show may not come back. If so, it will probably be called Kate Plus Eight. Another, nastier yet more current divorce is that between Christie Brinkley and her fourth husband Peter Cook. Cook claims that Brinkley is a bad mother and consumed by rage. Brinkley claims that Cook is an internet porn junky, had an affair with a high school senior, a girl 30 year his junior, and not fit to raise their two children.

Because both were rich to begin with so the division of assets is not the issue. Brinkley is claiming that Cook is an unfit parent and wants soul custody. They both decided to yell at each other in public for the whole world to see. Another recent and surprising divorce was that between Mel Gibson and his wife Robyn. After 29 years of marriage and 7 kids, Mel is having another baby with Russian girlfriend and musician Oksana Grigorieva. The new baby is due in December.
