It was great and now it's over. He or she is gone and your heart is broken. Or you're disgusted and can't stand the thought of them. There's a lot of advice. You should pick and choose as you see fit. Before you move on, maybe you should curl up alone. Listen to music you like, but not the romantic or sweet kind. There are too many memories, evoked through certain songs. Have a drink- not ten, one- and then try something you'd like to do, and never have done. Next, get rid of pictures, and gifts he gave you, CDs you listened to together, and any messages from him you've saved on voicemail. Delete his numbers from your phone.

Your friends are your friends because you picked them, and vice versa. Lean on them in this time for support. They're truly there for you, because they've been where you are at some point in their lives. Remember, trashing your ex may feel good, but it is not a good way to get them off of your mind. Go out with your friends, looking truly fantastic, and have fun. This will help boost your self confidence.

Exercising is a great way to let go of stress, anger, or any other bottled up emotions that are getting in your way. Take a yoga class, kickboxing, or join an organized sport. This is not only exercise, but a great way to meet new people.

Going through a break-up is hard, and it can hurt, but there are positive things you can do to help yourself forget about yourself and move on.

Get creative and artistic. Don't forget, there's always the voodoo doll.
